On 21 November 2025, the European Commission published a practical guide to the new European General Product Safety Regulation (known as the GPSR).

The aim of this guide is to help businesses – particularly small and medium-sized enterprises and micro-enterprises – to better understand their obligations and to make it easier for them to apply the new rules.

As a reminder, since 13 December 2024, this regulation has established a common framework to ensure that non-food consumer products sold in the European Union are safe for users.
