The European commission has published a decision amending the Implementing Decision (EU) 2019/1698 as regards European standards for certain child care articles, children’s furniture, gymnastic equipment, lighters, and information and communication technology equipment.

This decision aims at:
- establishing the compliance of specific European standards with the general safety requirement of the General Product Safety Directive (GPSD);
- publishing references to these standards in the Official Journal of the European Union.
